The Spam Artists follows the chaotic journey of Brad McQueen, a washed-up Hollywood producer, and Azuka Egbunu, a talented but struggling Nigerian single mother, who form an unlikely partnership to scam the scammers. Brad, desperate for funds to save his career and his mother’s retirement, responds to a Nigerian email scam with a wild counterproposal: invest in his absurd film project, Laser Dachshunds. On the other side of the world, Azuka and her fellow scammers see potential in Brad’s desperation. What begins as a fraudulent deal evolves into a collaborative con to defraud Hollywood itself. Along the way, Brad and Azuka discover shared dreams and vulnerabilities, finding surprising allies in each other. This quirky, cross-cultural comedy explores themes of ambition, desperation, and redemption, proving that even the most mismatched partners can create a masterpiece—whether it’s a film or a scam.
